In 1988, Robert Vaughan founded IQue Business Solutions (IQBS) as a computer hardware distributor, selling to small and midsize businesses in Greensboro, North Carolina. However, IQBS found itself providing not only the hardware, but providing consulting services to clients who weren't always sure about how to get the most from the computers they had purchased.

As the need for consulting and software development became critical to the growing demands of changing business technology, IQBS redirected its focus. By 1989 IQBS incorporated and completely phased out its hardware sales division.

Today IQBS’ diverse client base are benefiting from our growth through merger-and-acquisition strategy which positions the company as their strategic human resource provider of permanent or temporary management and technical IT and SOX professionals. Our expertise in IT Governance, Organizational Project Management, Business Process Improvement, Service-oriented Architecture, Web-based Design and Development uniquely positions IQBS as a service provider to help our clients, sole proprietors to major corporations, build the next generation of business systems involving multi-enterprise commerce and collaboration.

The most recent change occurred in July of 2005 when we became an LLC.
